This book was published as a true story for profit, both financial and professional. Tyson has developed
a cottage industry of profit from book sales, teaching diversity classes, plays, and a movie.

He states "It was worth it to be able to have conversation." What Tyson seems to be telling everyone
is that he's incapable of having a conversation about race without lying and inventing.

Now Jeb Stuart has gone along on the con artist trail with Tim and Vernon Tyson for the same reason--opportunity
to keep to perpetuate those same lies through a movie. Another scheme that has a different name.
"Blood Done Sign My Name".

If authors and screenwriters can get away with lying about history they cover, extending to the publishing
and film industries, then the doors should be open to every wannabe author and publisher to write and publish
anything they choose, true or not.

It's obvious there are no standards or limits on dramatic license in the publishing and film industry. No standards
for fact-checking exist.

Return to the missing thesis papers. In Tim's book on page 324, he states that "somebody went in the Oxford Library and tore out the pages where he narrates the killing of Henry Marrow presumably to prevent other people from reading them."

And Tim states that "I could have replaced them of course, but I have chosen not to do so. Those missing pages make my central point more clearly, in some respects than there contents ever could have."

1st-- As every observer can plainly see, those missing pages do not narrate a killing. That's lying and defrauding the public!

2nd-- The author knew what was in those papers and he intentionally lied to the public about the contents.

3rd-- The author states that he could replace them but chose not to.

Why? Because Tyson knew his own thesis would contradict his book.

4th-- Absurdly, Tyson blames someone else for vandalizing his thesis when in fact it was he who owns the role of vandal.
The author knew what was in those missing pages and he has the audacity to blame someone else for his own actions. Outrageous that the agent, editor, and publishing company were not courious about the issue of the missing pages. They didn't care what was in them? Just interested in a cheap money-making charade?


                          Charlotte Sheedy and Crown Publishing:

On page 353 of "Blood Done Sign My Name" there were lots of people who had their hands on this book. I'll start with Charlotte Sheedy, Tim's literary agent.

Did she ask to see all the sources Tim referenced? And who was the fact checker?

Crown Publishing purchased the North American rights from Charlotte Sheedy at auction in 2001. Did any of the editors question any of Tim's sources? Were they not curious enough to question the author about what was in his missing thesis pages?

Steve Ross, Chris Jackson, Emily Loose, Genoveve Llosa, Amy Boorstein, Alison Former, Bonnie Thompson, Lauren Dong, Laura Duffy, and Doug Pepper (the final editor).

Were they all so stupid not to even ask a question? It's unimaginable that they were so gullible to believe that every newspaper for this period of time was somehow missing. The Oxford Ledger was not missing. And it's quite obvious that none of the above editors asked to see the missing thesis pages which Tim said he could replace.

If they had asked to see the missing pages, it would have been clear to them that Tyson has been lying and fabricating a tale that reaches from the very spine of his book---to the most miniscule detail.

Who on earth cannot clearly see the difference between what's in the newspapers and Tim's statements which were used from the
author's own sources? Tim's sources reference those newspapers, and they contradict the author. What kind of idiot cannot understand this?

Are you tired of getting ripped off by authors and publishers who care nothing about the facts they pitch to the public? What intelligent person would even believe that the entire period of 1970 newspapers for this event were missing? Tired of being ripped off by these companies? Then notify them and demand a refund. And if you are an author and they won't publish your book because of a lie, then use this website as a reference and ask them why the hell not?

When the people above contact me and acknowledge the errors in the book, then I'll remove their names from this site. Or they can sue me for telling the truth!

Tyson was under the assumption that no one could sort out his lies. Did this white male professor really believe that he was privileged to such a degree that he couldn't be exposed?

He's sadly mistaken. Tim can have all the conversations and talk until he's blue in the face. But he can't change the facts in public documents.

                         The Grawemeyer Award Louisville Kentucky.

I contacted Susan Garrett grawemeyer@lpts.edu in Oct of 2008 regarding the $200,000 Grawemeyer award in Religion that Tim Tyson received for this book. A reply was never received. I requested that the recognition of this reward be revoked, the $200,000 cash prize was not the issue. The issue was openly rewarding someone for lying.

In March of 2009 I sent a letter to President Dr. Jim Ramsey of the University of Louisville, Kentucky regarding this same issue. No reply.

A second letter was sent to Dr. Jim Ramsey in April.

This was the reply.





Does Louisville use double standards? One for their students, and one for honoring the recipients of their Grawemeyer award? Just reading this response from Susan Garrett sends this message. So what if the author has lied? It's O.K. We stand by our decision. Just take it up with the publisher.

If these low-level standards prevail, then there should be no problem when any of the students or the staff behave in this same dishonest and fraudulent manner while at the University of Louisville, Ky.

When the recognition for this award is revoked for rewarding a liar, then I'll remove the Louisville University information.

It was obvious from the beginning that much of the information in Tim's book "Blood Done Sign My Name" was concocted for emotional appeal to the public, so I decided to get copies of all the newspapers that covered this and knew those sources would be unbiased. My first trip to gather information was the Dept. of Archives in Raleigh, NC. The first thing I noticed was The
Oxford Public Ledger reel was donated by a person who was involved with Tim's book. The person's name was on the front and rear end of the reel. This reel had no information from 1970.

Then I visited the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford, NC. They have all the newspapers from 1970 covering this on micro film. Anyone can go to the Oxford Library and verify this. Looking at Tim's sources in Chapter 12, page 294, Tim states: "The Oxford Public Ledger is missing for this entire historical period."

To make it clear, the newspapers for this time period are not missing. They are at the Richard H. Thornton Library in Oxford. The newspapers at the Dept. of Archives in Raleigh, NC are the ones that are not complete for the year of 1970. They are the ones that were donated by a person who is featured in Tim's book. When I discovered what was going on, I returned to the Archives in Raleigh to get a copy to show the donors name.

But guess what? Somebody had vandalized the reel and the donor's name was missing. Tim must have shills in a lot of different places.

What's going on when public documents get tampered with? Other than hiding evidence to advance a false story, what other reason would anyone want the donor's name removed?

On page 294 and 295 of BDSMN Tim wants to make sure that the reader believes the Oxford Public Ledger is missing for the entire period. What Tim is really doing is directing the readers away from the Richard H. Thornton
Library in Oxford, NC. Putting forth this false story also directs people away from the Archives in Raleigh, NC. That is where Tim had one of his shills place a donated copy at the Archives in Raleigh showing the information from 1970 is missing just in case someone decided to research this.

There are at least three people involved in this hoax: Tim Tyson, Vernon Tyson, plus the donor whose name was removed from the donated reel at the Dept of Archives in Raleigh, NC.

What an outrageous cover-up!

Tim Tyson has shown that he is willing to do anything to misrepresent public documents, hide the fact that they actually do exist, and lie about the contents.

Have you ever wondered why religion is failing in this country? Have you ever wondered why there is so much

If you have read this entire website, then you have just witnessed why. Two of North Carolina's biggest con artists are Preacher Vernon Tyson and Professor Timothy B.Tyson. They will lie about the facts on anything to comply with their adgenda.

Added to the mountain of lies that Tim Tyson has manufactured for the public, he now wants to commit a crime.
He wants to hang my family and me.

After the recent tragedy in Alabama where a professor shot a number of her colleagues because of tenure issues(!), can anyone begin to imagine what someone like Tyson might do if he were involved in such a conflict?

Or if he was involved in some discussion that didn't meet his moral upbringing or Godly views? In his own book he
has already expressed his desire for violence.

Shockingly, Tyson recently expressed his desire to perform a hanging!

In "Blood Done Sign My Name" (page 303), Tim states, "all [he] could think about was knocking a hole in the owners head."

In another comment Tyson states,"I want to kill these motherfuckers." Futher, on (page 304) he uses profanity and suggests burning down the owners business. ( Pay Attention: a Professor and a "preacher" is making these comments).

Tim has openly admitted what he would like to do to other people. And now he wants to hang my family and me.

This recent comment was left on Facebook by Timothy B.Tyson on February 8, 2010 at 10:19 pm.

"I personally voted to hang the mfers. The jury foreman lied."

Is this type of vulgarity acceptable from someone who attempts to present himself as a "teacher" and a "preacher"?

Is anyone going to hold this "distinguished scholar" accountable for this type of behavior? Mere secondary
school teachers have been fired for less.

I have notified UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University. If this type of pedestrian and vulgar internet behavior
from a "professional" concerns you, then you need to voice your opinion.

This is yet another view of the true character of Timothy Tyson. A vivid example of his classless and dishonest way of life as he tries to push religion.

No matter what Tim Tyson, Vernon Tyson or Jeb Stuart tells you, can you be sure they have told the truth?

Let me call your attention to "Blood Done Sign My Name" (page 295) where Tim states "nervous as a teenaged shoplifter, I stuffed the whole folder into my briefcase and headed for the public library , where I photocopied all the documents. Then I slipped back into the courthouse and replaced the folder." Two weeks later, when I [Tim] 
came back to look at the photographs again the folders were empty."

You may trust somebody that will tamper with court documents, but I never will.

It's obvious someone is trying to cover-up Tim Tyson's hanging comment. It was removed from Google's
