I must revisit the topic of beer on the missing thesis page. Keep in mind Alcohol consumption can affect judgment and alter behavior.
The missing pages from the thesis are 88-93. BDSNM page 324, Tim states the torn out pages are where he narrates the killing of Henry Marrow. Page 89 does not narrate the killing of Henry. On Page 89 Tim mentioned some unopened beer would later be found. Tim is suggesting some was consumed. In Tim’s book there is no mention of Freeman's grocery or Country Club beer. Freeman/s grocery did exist. It was down the street from our business.
When this case went to court, I don’t remember anything about beer or alcohol being involved or mentioned. Our attorneys would have made a big issue if beer and alcohol were involved. I didn't find anything in the newspapers concerning alcohol. If alcohol was involved it would definitely be newsworthy.
Tim put beer and knew the name brand “Country Club” in his thesis. For some reason, Tim used the issue of beer in his thesis back in 1990. But those pages mysteriously disappeared. Did this really start because of alcohol? Who other than Tim would need those pages removed? Did Tim find out drinking was definitely going on, and tried to cover this up for his book scheme?
I hate to think of the vandalism and burning that took place when alcohol could have been involved on May 11 and covered up. And how many people were fooled and never knew drinking was going on?According to Vernon 4 or 5 people were involved. How many times has the lie been told that only one person was drinking in the group?
To exacerbate this already troubling web of lies, it was covered up once again years later to concoct the plot for the book " Blood Done Sign My Name ". Coffee cups, tee shirts, and pictures were being sold to promote this film as Vernon and Tim Tyson sat back in their chairs being honored and praised.
For what? They are feeding off a tale concocted through a web of lies. The racial climate at that time made it easy for them to build up a story. Many people were gladly led to believe that it was all racially motivated. What is Tim Tyson afraid of? Why did he change his story so many times? Sickening!
The night this accident happened we were working on our property, tending to our own business. Per Vernon 4 or 5 men in a group, one happened to be 23 years old.
So thinking logically, would a non drinking person yell out obscenities, pull out a knife and come on someone’s property that was being boycotted? I don't think so, But if the person was drinking it makes perfect sense to yell obscenities, pull out a knife and come on someone's property that was being boycotted.
Ask yourself these questions.
#1 Was beer involved but covered up from the beginning?
#2 Why did Tim say that Dickie was buying beer in his thesis and not say the
same thing in his book?
#3 Who other than Tim would need to cover up the beer?
#4 Is the beer in the thesis the first time Tim told the truth or just another lie?
#5 Why would Tim refuse to replace the missing pages in his thesis?
#6 Was this to settle the score of a man being struck at the car wash?
#7 Or about the grievances the black community had?
I am sure there could be other reasons added to this list. This is just a few of them.
And don't forget to consider on page 59 BDSMN were Tim claims the young blacks went to the school teacher and offered to take vengeance for the car wash incident. The teacher did not want to push the issue. But if he had wanted to do something we would have burned Teel up.
Here is the time frame. The man struck at the car wash incident was settled in court on May 6, 1970. The shooting incident happened May 11, 1970. Five days later. Did this group decide to take matters in their own hands?
Don’t expect to get a truthful answer out of Tim either way.
I am convinced beer was involved that would explain a lot!

" Sham And Mockery "
BDSMN Page 245: Tim states The Raleigh News & Observer's lead editorial the next morning after the trail was entitled "Sham and Mockery". The jury was "doubly conned" This is another lie. Tim has falsified what was actually printed in the Headlines and text the day after the trial.
To make it clear at no time was “Sham and Mockery” and “doubly conned” ever printed in the newspapers in 1970 thru 1971. Tim wants the readers to believe his sources that he lists on page 341 are correct and support what’s in his book. When in fact it is just the opposite, Tim has lied, embellished and fabricated most if not all the sources relating to this incident. A very sloppy research tactic if ever there was one.Here are the Headlines for the day after the trial. The trial ended Sunday August 2, 1970.

Tim Tyson's Sources
Tim lied when he stated the Oxford Public Ledger was missing and he falsified the information in the headlines of the News and Observer on August 3, 1970. Those alone, are just two examples of documented sources that prove clear deception.
If you have the book, Tim states eight anonymous sources. Tim has nine sources of references to books that Tim Tyson was either the Author of or the co-author.
There are twenty three interviews, that should be questioned. Tim is willing to lie about publicly documented papers. Why would he have any qualms about lying with respect to the information from those interviews.
Let’s go back to BDSMN page 245 and finish this up. The reason Tim left out the end of this is just another part of Tim’s race hustling scheme. Tim deceived the public again.
The verdict was read not guilty. Immediately following the verdict we were recharged and double jeopardy came into play. It took from August 2, 1970 to Feb 9, 1971 for this case to end. And the following day Feb 10, 1971 the Teel's businesses were fire bombed and burned and nobody was ever charged.
The Rumpled Tim Tyson And The Hollywood Heavyweight Jeb Stuart
Tim Tyson and Jeb Stuart see this film as a chance to further spread Tim’s message. Both are the sons of Southern preachers and have no doubt been steeped in the do-gooder self-righteousness that often comes along with those who enjoy using race as a way to get attention for themselves. The truth is often a casualty of such a lifestyle.
In many way's it's like a mental illness and making up tall tales becomes a way of life as they use religion on their side.
Tim’s idea of teaching history to an audience of millions is a dream come true. Tim even considers himself a public educator. I would consider him a lying educator.
One thing is certain: Tim Tyson nor Jeb Stuart will ever be able to cover up the lies contained in "Blood Done Sign My Name". They will never be able to change the truth. They can only continue to deceive the public and increase their wealth.
Keep in mind all my information is backed up by documented papers from 1970. These copies can be pulled and verified by anyone.
I will ask one thing from the public. If you agree that lying is acceptable in a book that is written as a true story, this is what you need to do. Notify your congressmen and senators. Public educators and all your community leaders. To set up programs to educate every man, woman and child in this country that lying is OK and totally acceptable.
Earlier I stated that there are over 30 plus lies and fabrications in this book. If Jeb Stuart proceeds to release this movie based on "Blood Done Sign My Name", then I shall be forced to expose the multitude of additional lies. When the mountain of lies are removed from the book, you won't be left with much more than a pamphlet of Tyson's overactive imagination. I will not sit back and allow Jeb Stuart to disgrace my family with this film based on desperate Southern fairy tales.
